Butterfly Preservation Workshop

Learn the art of insect preservation and take home your very own pinned butterflies to frame up!

Our classes are suitable for anyone aged 16 & over, with no prior experience required. There is a maximum or 3 participants per session, ensuring you get the most assistance possible. 

In this class you will learn how to
- Use the tools needed for insect preservation
- Rehydrate and set 2 different butterfly specimens
- Take your butterflies away and frame them up at home

What you will take away from the class
- Your very own take-home kit to continue practising insect preservation
- Your setting board with 2 butterflies pinned and ready to dry
- A frame with museum grade glass to frame up your prepared specimen
